Thanks To You

I am so happy and inspired this day because we chatted and met on cam with my habibi in KSA. It's really nice to have somebody who loves and care for you whatever and wherever you are. He's really our life. He talked with parents too.

After our talk my friend and co-teacher shared on facebook the video entitled "Traffic Light by Maricel Fajardo". It is really a nice video which touched my heart really. I wanted to cry because of the story that was like mine. Anyway the important is. I have found my man who fix everything. I really love him so much.

Structuring the Classroom

I enjoyed structuring my classroom and satisfied to what I made. I had proven that I am creative like what other people were saying. It's not yet done but I can see that my bulletin boards are really nice. I will just post the picture of it when it will be finished.

Yeheyy! I'm Promoted...

I didn't expect this week that I can receive my appointment for Teacher II. I am really very happy to receive the appointment paper which was given to me by our District Liason. I immediately asked our supply officer about the forms to be filled up and submitted. But I was a little bit sad when I read the medical requirements because I have no money to pay for the doctor's fee and other medical examination. It required me to undergo Blood Test, Urinalysis, Drug Test, Chest Xray and Neuro-psychiatry. I have nothing to do but borrow from the lending company an amount that could cater to my needs this week. I was approved to borrow by the manager despite my meager net pay. But I really thank God for this opportunity. I am really blessed to be promoted as Teacher II.

God said "Knock and you will be opened, ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and you will find." This the promise of God to all His people in this world. And this is my sword in attacking the crisis combat.

Our world nowadays is now in chaos because of the economic crisis experienced by the inhabitants. Many are suffering from hunger. They are starving because of earning low income for their big family. And these are the reasons why kidnapping, carnapping, stealing and even killing other people exist. It is not really easy to live in this world without something to eat on our tables.

However, a peaceful world can be achieved through knowing and digging the treasures in the internet. Internet world is not only for the rich who can afford to buy personal computers or laptops but even the street children or family can reach and collect these treasures. There are vast sites which offers a good income for the registered member. It is like having a business without putting a money as investment. Only our dedication and perseverance to soar in the world of internet marketing is the capital.

At first, it was really hard to catch those gold fishes but through determination and perseverance, going to the world of success would never be difficult.

My New Pedicab

I am very happy to see my new pedicab yesterday. My happiness cup is really full because of this successful goal of mine. It is not easy to buy a new cab because it cost P20, 000.00. The franchise costs P10, 000.00 also all in all. However, all the things are already achieved.

What I need now is to transfer the name of the franchise to my name so I can register my pedicab as for hire. I will go to City Hall tomorrow and process the the transfer of franchise. I will take an oath at the Public's Attorney Office and go back to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Office to pay the amount for the purchasing of franchise.

I am hoping that God will blessed this new pedicab and guide all its travel. I am very thankful to my father who make this project successful and most especially to God who gave me a source of money in order to acquire this thing.

He's God's Gift For Us

We picked up the money sent by God's angel this morning. We are very happy to receive an amount which really can help us much in our daily needs. We bought the things we need for school and pairs of uniforms. I really thank God for giving us a kind and generous angel even he's far from us he showed his love and care for us.

I am the only daughter now....

It's really funny to think that I am the only daughter in our house for 6 days already. I am the only daughter left in the house. I am the the one doing all the household chores. I cook, clean the house, wash dishes and clothes. Now I realized that people could not be happy by living alone. Though my parents are here, but they have also other routine. I missed joy, jl and gong very much. Tomorrow they will come home already. I hope they enjoyed the Western Mindanao Conference-wide Summer Camp for Adventist Youth.

Father of the Bride Speech

The father of the bride is one of the most important speakers in a wedding program. He is the awaited speaker aside from the bride and the groom because audience usually wait and see the feelings of happiness of the parents whose daughter is going to separate lives in another complicated but challenging world. These are the reasons why he should prepare a nice and meaningful speech. He must be ready to talk in front of the audience without fear, guilt and shame. He must be proud of not only for his daughter who is going to build a new and happy family but also to themselves as parents.

A short script or outline of his speech is a very helpful tool in delivering it attractively and meaningfully to the audience. He must prepare it a day before the program. His speech should not be too long or short yet can touch every hearts that will serve as guide in tackling their own lives. One technique that I can suggest is that , he may find a meaningful quote which is appropriate for the wedding program. He should carefully expound it which relates to their own lives or to the incoming married life of the newly-wed couple. He should not talk long about it. And lastly, he should prepare a meaningful joke that could not be forgotten by the audience.

Fiesta! Fiesta! Fiesta!

This month of May has many fiesta celebrations in most barangays or cities in the country. This month is the merriest yet the most enjoyable month because aside from the summer activities done, people are going to and fro wherever is the fiesta celebration. I can really forget my food diet this month of May because many of my co-teachers are inviting me for the celebration. And I can't stop myself from eating the delicious foods place on the table.

Swimming Pool

It is very hot here in the Philippines. Aside from the summertime, El Niño is hitting the country.

To ease the warmth we feel everyday and even in the night time, we decided to bathe in the swimming pool at Daminar's Riverside Garden, one of the famous tourist spots in Oroquieta City.

Dance Presentation

I just finished downloading dance musics for our dance presentation during the First Grand Homecoming 2010 on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Since we graduated on the year 1990's, we chose also dance musics that were popularly known during those years. Among the 3 musics I have downloaded, I chose the Ice Ice Baby music by Vanilla Ice.

I searched in the internet when was the music Ice Ice Baby became popular. I got interested of what I read at Wikepedia, The Free Encyclopedia. It is written there that "Ice Ice Baby is a hip hop song written by the American rapper Vanilla Ice and DJ Earthquake.The song samples the bassline of "Under Pressure" by "Queen" and " David Bowie", who did not initially receive songwriting credit or royalties until after it had become a hit. Originally released on Van Winkle's 1989 debut album Hooked and later on his 1990 national debut To the Exteme, it is his most famous and popular song."

I remembered that we also danced with this music when we were first year high school students. We were four dancing with this music during our Acquiantance Party. And it's so funny to think that we are the same dancers who will dance with the Ice Ice Baby Dance Music for our dance presentation. The difference is that, we don't have the same body figure than before so perhaps our performance will not be as excellent than before. However, we will try our very best to perform and give our best on that day.

A Motorcycle Franchise

Motorcycle franchise in our place is very difficult to acquire especially when we personally apply it in the City Hall where there are many motorcycle owners who waited for months and some for years already. But I was so glad this morning when my Tiyo (uncle) told us that one his friends wanted to sell his motorcycle's franchise because he has no time for picking up passengers already due to his job as a baker in well-known bakery here in Oroquieta .

I really wanted to acquire a franchise so my motorcycle will become a for hire vehicle. I decided my vehicle to be attached with a cab to help support us in our daily needs. And thanks God I finally acquired it.

Book of Eli Movie

A very nice movie..




My co-teachers and I agreed to go to Ozamiz City yesterday just to have some fun. Four of us went to the city riding two motorcyles which I drove one of it. The weather was hot, yet we didn't feel it because the enjoyment we felt overwhelmed. We wore sweatshirt, shades and helmet to protect us from our 1 hour travel to our destination.

We arrived at 11:30 A.M. Since it was lunchtime already, we agreed to take our lunch at Inasal Food Hauz. But before that we dropped at Malindang Herald newspaper publishing to publish one article and after that we ordered our lunch.

After eating, we went to a movie house and decided to watch Book of Eli. We watched for 1 and one-half hour and enjoyed the movie very much. The movie has a very interesting story and was well-portrayed. All of us appreciated, for it is not only an action movie but it touches on the spiritual aspect of human being.

Unexpected Blessing

God never leaves His people especially during hard times when you only ask and seek His guidance, He is at your side always ready to help and guide you.

I never expect of a great blessing this week when I checked my Ecard plus account at GSIS. I know God provided me on this way to solve all my worries in life. I really thanked God for this unexpected blessing. It really helps my family's needs.

Dream Big

I have just started my new business the other day. It is only a small business but I believe that this is my starting point to success. I am selling jeans which I bought in bunch from a RTW store here in our place. I prefer to buy here because I can easily change if there are damages and return unsold stocks to the store.

At first I sold 6 jeans only as a sample but it's really astonishing for 51 teachers ordered me additional jeans. It's really fun and enjoyable. It does not only give me additional income for our family but also adds my list of friends.

Achieving World Peace

My brother's family composes of four members. His loving wife and two lovely children smile to the max...... There's an evidence of a happy family, right? If all family in the world are happy, there will be no walls to each person and wars to the same race. And therefore our quest for world peace could be easily achieved.

We've got the second place!

This was the first language festival sponsored by Oroquieta City Division which was held at the City Gym last October 2009. There were 14 contestants joined in the Jazz Chant competition and luckily we got the second place. I was very proud of my achievement as a coach and trainer for only our entry from our school in the different contest won.
